The readings for Good Shepherd Sunday are Acts 20:17-35, Ps. 23, Rev. 7:9-17, and John 10:22-30.
Christ is risen. He is risen, indeed. Alleluia! Today, we rejoice because He who shed His blood an died to grant us everlasting life is also our Shepherd. He who died for us now walks with us through the valley of the shadow of death, through hardships and disappointments, threats against our faith, and fears of what lay ahead of us. Yes, Jesus leads us through this life’s journey that we may spend eternity with Him in His eternal new heaven and new earth He has prepared for us.
